Μετά από εγκατάσταση του SP1 του Exchange Server 2010, η δυνατότητα επιλογής όλων των Options του Outlook Web App έδινε μήνυμα λάθους «Unexpected Error occurred and your request couldn't be completed. Please try again». Προσπαθώντας να κάνω Browse την σελίδα https://servername/ecp μέσα από τον Server, μου έδινε το ακόλουθο error:

« An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web
request».

Κοιτάζοντας τα Event Logs μέσα στον Server, είδα αρκετά Warning Event ID: 1309 Source ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0.

Ένα κοινό μήνυμα λάθους που στην δική μου περίπτωση με κούρασε αρκετά, όπως είχε αναφερθεί και σε post της ομάδας MSExchangeteam στις 23 Σεπτεμβρίου και είχε αναρτήσει στο Autoexec ο nikolaosk, το παρόν μήνυμα λάθους είναι ένα attack στον Exchange Server. Στην ουσία, μετά την εγκατάσταση του SP1, όλα τα Options του Outlook Web App (ECP,OAB και όλες τις υπόλοιπες δυνατότητες) δεν εμφανίζονταν . Η επίλυση του θέματος μου ήταν δύο απλά βηματάκια:

Βήματα Επίλυσης:

1. Start—>Type CMD and run CMD as Administrator

2. Type cd\windows\system32

3. Type lodctr /r and then running an iisreset

Notes

/R is uppercase. You must have administrative rights on the computer to successfully perform this command.

The Lodctr /R:<filename> command is the standard method to restore performance counter registry strings and information by using a file name.

Και με αυτόν τον τρόπο επανήλθαν όλα όπως έπρεπε να ήταν, κάνοντας rebuild τα Performance Counter Library values.
