In collaboration with the Head of Unit, s/he will coordinate and supervise a team of external staff. Accountabilities Participate in IT projects and perform implementation of new enhancements for the Integration hub. Coordinate new functionalities with business users and other IT technical teams. Carry out maintenance and further development of the Integration hub (either directly or through external teams) Contribute to the implementation of application integration solutions based on IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX), IBM MQSeries and Java Middleware. Coordinate and supervise an external IT team so as to ensure the delivery of expected solution to internal business customers Analyse and propose possible technical solutions consistent with business and functional requirements and IT plans; and if relevant define required customizations Translate users specifications into integration solutions and create/maintain the project documentation required by the Bank’s systems development methodology Deal with enquiries from other departments/directorates and provide solutions Qualifications Full University degree preferably in computer science or related disciplines At least 3 years experience in the IT function, particularly in the design, development and implementation of business related information management systems Some knowledge of project management principles, methods and practices will be considered positive Experience in the integration area of business applications Solid practical experience in Java, Java messaging, Java middleware, databases, SQL programming, JBoss, WebServices Experience in WebSphere Transformation Extender is an advantage Experience in banking and risk management would be an asset Fluent in English or French and a solid understanding of the other Competencies Strong capacity to analyse and solve complex problems Openness to ideas and systemic thinking Organising, prioritizing and planning skills Drive and persistence Good oral and written communications skills Strong interpersonal skills, team working and customer focused Stress tolerance Deadline for applications: 11th June 2011 We believe that Diversity is good for our people and our business.
