Senior JAVA Developer (J2EE, Spring)

        We currently have a vacancy for a Senior JAVA Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in The Hague, Netherlands. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
         
        Your tasks:
        •Design and development of JAVA based applications and components in line with command java coding standards and practices;
        •Create and document a detailed design using UML, ArchiMate and other modelling techniques;
        •Identify different options for implementing functionality and implement the design for software components; 
        •Translate non-functional requirements into technical designs;
        •Draft unit tests and integration tests;
        •Liaise with other technical teams working on sub-modules of the same solution, as well as with ICT operations and ICT Architecture, and report progress status to the Project Manager;
        •Coordinate and assign tasks with/to other developers.
        Your skills:
        •University Degree in IT with minimum 8 years of professional experience in JAVA and 6 years in J2EE;
        •Minimum 5 years of experience using Spring Framework;
        •Minimum 1 year of experience using ESB products like Apache camel, Mule ESB, spring integration, Websphere ESB, Fuse Service works or similar; 
        •1 year of experience in multi developer projects using collaboration tools like code repository, work item management and continuous integration tools;
        •Knowledge of Maven, SQL, Linux operating system, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux and JBoss enterprise application platform; 
        •Knowledge of development project management methodologies or continuous integration methodologies will be an asset;
        •Fluency in both oral and written English.
