        We currently have a vacancy for a Business Development Officer, fluent in English and French, to offer his/her services in Athens.

 

        The work will be carried out in the company’s premises, as a member of the Business Development Team.

 

         Duties / Tasks:

 

        

 

        The Business Development Officer’s primary responsibility is to help the Business grow i.e. to plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, as to create, assist in developing and maintaining ongoing business relationships with the Company’s major customers and partners, in accordance with the agreed business plans:

 

                Manage and analyse clients’ business needs; client development through regular meetings;

 

                Deal with the implementation of contract management;

 

                Ensure that deliveries are compliant with client's expectations and business/profitability objectives, liaising with technical and not technical company departments;

 

                Generate leads for possible sales, building and reporting on client intelligence;

 

                Formulation of strategy and business planning as well as launch and implementation of these;

 

                Direct employee supervision and support of staff.Desired Skills & Experience

 

         Specific Requirements:University degree in Business Studies and / or IT and / or other relevant Engineering disciplines;

 

                Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B IT services sales lifecycle;

 

                Experience in a staff supervisory position and/or in HR management and recruitment is an asset;

 

                Excellent oral and written communication ability in English and good working level of French is mandatory. Knowledge of other languages is an asset;

 

                Very good knowledge of MS Office, CRM and Internet use.Inter-personal Competencies:

 

                Good business sense and understanding of the company’s market and competitor’s product(s) and service(s);

 

                Excellent communication skills, both writing and verbally; ability to handle stress and deadlines;

 

                Customer Orientation and high level of flexibility;

 

                Motivated, result oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator;

 

                Open to learning and continuous improvement;

 

                Planning, reporting, organising and decision making skills;

 

                Analytical and critical ability;

 

                Experience in multi-client and multicultural environments is an asset;

                Show persistence and seek alternatives and solutions;
