               Description

                

               PRISMA ELECTRONICS SA is an innovative, high technology company that was established in 1991 in Alexandroupolis, Greece. Throughout a consistent and continuous effort, the company engaged in a wide range of activities in the field of Electronics, Information Technology, Telecommunications and Energy. Today it is known for its popular products: LAROS (www.laros.gr) and XENAGOS (www.e-xenagos.gr), as well as the close cooperation with major research institutes such as CERN, ESA and NCSR Demokritos.

                

               LAROS is an innovative platform that enables remote monitoring and analysis of vessels’ operational parameters. The Support Department of Prisma Electronics, located in Athens - Greece, is looking for talented and motivated individuals that will join our team and work as Account Managers and Technical Support Engineers of LAROS platform in maritime industry. The job position requires frequent communication with customers, analysis of data measurements, and problem solving.

               Two positions are currently available.The successful candidates should:

               •fully understand basic concepts in Computer Science, Physics, and Data Analysis,

               •possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, but should be also able to work independently under circumstances

               •be able to take initiatives

               •be organized and methodical

               •have critical thinking and problem solving skills

               •be fluent in English

               •enjoy learning new things

                Technical Requirements

               Account Manager and Technical Support Engineer Position:

               •Bachelor   Degree   in   Electrical   Engineering,   Mechanical   Engineering,   Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent field

               •Familiarity with Data Analysis, Data Bases, and Networking

               •Experience in Computer Networks, SQL syntax and query logic, Embedded C, and Numerical Methods will be considered an asset

               •Familiarity with basic  principles  of Fluid  Dynamics  and  Thermodynamics  are  not necessary but will be considered a plus

               •Background or previous experience in Support Department positions is highly preferable
