ESB Senior Engineer - Senior ESB Engineer

 

Role purpose:

 

The role is responsible for design and development of high quality technical solutions, in accordance with the Architectural recommendations in the area of system integration.

 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 

 

Participation in the full Software Development process

 

Resolution of escalated issues in System Integration

 

Active role in Low Level Design process and participation in High Level Analysis process

 

Allocation of responsibilities to development teams  in collaboration with line management

 

Technical guidance of Development Team

Required core competencies, knowledge and experience:

At least 5 years of experience in relevant positions in Software Development

 
Excellent skills in Java Programming, Web Services and XML 

Solid knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) 

Knowledge of Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), MySQL and/or DB2 

Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

Ability to work independently and also as part of a team 

Excellent interpersonal and team building skills 

Highly self-motivated and methodical, with attention to detail


Desired Experience:

In applications of Telecommunication Companies (Operation Support Systems/Business Support Systems) 

In Web Sphere Process Server or BEA 

In Integration Development platforms (WebSphere Integration Developer, Oracle Service BUS etc.)

Technical / professional qualifications:

University degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
Excellent certified knowledge of the English language
