It is expected from the Trainee that he/she will support the IT/ITMO/PMO (Portfolio Management Office) and IT/ITMO/TPM (Transversal Project Management) Units in managing the EIB IT project portfolio and in keeping all IT Project Managers informed and updated on rules and regulations, templates, tips and tricks. He/she should actively propose improvements in the processes and systems used.ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Head of Portfolio Management, the trainee will work as a Junior Programme Manager and participate actively in the monthly reporting cycle. His/her main tasks will be Project reporting Portfolio reporting Data reconciliations with accounting Update and consolidate documentation directed at Project Managers and Stakeholders, mainly on MS SharePointAcademic qualifications and professional skills Final year of studies or degree in IT, engineering, mathematics or physics Good to advanced knowledge of MS Office software, in particular Excel and Word. Knowledge of MS Project and/or MS Project Server would be an advantage. Practical knowledge of a document management system would be an advantage.Competencies Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and/or French. Ability to write documents in English.
