The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking for its Corporate Services (CS) - Information Technology - Transversal Services Department - IT Management Office Division - Portfolio Management Office Unit

at its headquarters in Luxembourg:

TRAINEE

Duration: 5  months (fixed start date: 01^st March 2020)

(With possible extension up to 6 months if required by University)

Objective of the traineeship

This traineeship will provide you with hands-on experience in one of the most wide-spread platforms for project and portfolio management (SharePoint integrated with MsProject Server and MsProject client) coupled with process automation (Nintex workflows) and reporting tools (Business Objects and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)), as well as understand how a project is run using the PM² project methodology with V-model testing, issue tracking and resolution.

 

Responsibilities

You will support the core project team to work on business requirements, prepare and execute tests, liaise with relevant teams to analyse issues and follow-up on their resolution, create training material, demo the changes to the target audience and update procedures and user guides.

 

Academic qualifications and professional skills

• Final year of studies or university degree in computer sciences, engineering or mathematics;
• Previous experience with Ms Project and/or SharePoint;
• Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); especially Excel;
• Excellent command of written and oral English, with knowledge of other EU languages being an advantage.
• Any experience is considered an advantage:
• Project methodologies (e.g. PM², Prince2, Agile, PMP, PMI / PMBoK);
• Testing methodologies (e.g. V-model) and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps or TFS).
