Person specification Qualifications required: It is essential that you will hold a university degree, preferably equivalent to a Master’s Degree in information systems engineering, information technology or related discipline. Exceptionally, the lack of a university/college degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency; that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function of the post. A formal post-secondary training in ITIL V3 would be considered as an asset. Experience required: It is considered essential that you hold, as a minimum, 2 years of function related experience in Database Administration, in particular with Oracle E-Business Suite (11i or higher). Within this experience, you will be required to demonstrate: · Knowledge and practical experience with the management of Oracle e-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Database 12c product versions in a Linux environment. The Base Support Wing (BSW) is responsible to the E-3A Commander for the effective operation of all E-3A peculiar Main Operating Base (MOB) support functions. The Communications & Information Systems (CIS) Squadron is responsible for the management of all assigned IT Systems and Services throughout their life-cycle, in support to the E-3A Component`s mission including Forward Operating Bases and Location (FOBs/FOL). The Networks & Transmission Support Branch is responsible for the provision of secure Networks, Transmission and Telecommunication Systems and Services, including interfaces with NATO wide communications systems and national defense networks, and provides audio visual and VTC services. The Network Operation & Management Section provides external and internal connectivity (LAN/WLAN) by installation, administration and maintenance of assigned IT systems and infrastructure (typically router/switch hardware and software) for voice data and video teleconferencing communication, and provides and supports deployable systems. Working Environment Normal office environment. Contract NCI Agency normally offers contracts of employment of a definite duration, not exceeding three years.
