Microsoft just released some beta tools that promise to do our life easier in Windows 8. The first one has the funny acronym MBAM (Microsoft Bitlocker Administration and Monitoring Tool) and the new version is available (version 2.0) as a free download.

The tool will reduce the time it takes to provision BitLocker to devices, according to a new post on the Microsoft Springboard Series blog.

One more free beta tool is the AGPM (Advanced Group Policy Management) which offers you great Group Policy administration capabilities and soon we’ll see the new beta of User Experience Virtualization. Do you love DaRT? You can go and get the new release candidate of DaRT 8!

All these tools are part of the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP), available to the Software Assurance customers.
