Στην περίπτωση αυτή που αντιμετωπίζεις το πρόβλημα μη αποστολής e-mail στο Yahoo μπορεί να οφείλετε στο ότι οι Exchange Servers σου και οι IPs αυτων είναι blocked από RBL list ή σε κάποιο άλλο παράγοντα ( ISA , Spam Content Filtering κτλ ) Για να επιλύσεις το πρόβλημα ένα troubleshooting tip είναι να περιορίσεις τους παράγοντες που μπορούν να αποτελέσουν αίτια του προβλήματος: - Ελέγχεις αρχικά αν οι Ips των Servers είναι σε RBL lists - Ελέγχεις ξανά τα Reverse Dns Records .Οι DNS οι εξωτερικοί τα αναγνωρίζουν ? - Περιορίζεις το πρόβλημα πάνω στον Exchange - Δεν προσπαθείς να προσωμοιώσεις το πρόβλημα απο τον Client . Θέλεις αρχικά να στείλεις e-mail στο Yahoo αλλα πάνω από Exchange - Stopped τον ISA μπορείς να στείλεις e-mail ? οχι ---> - Stopped το Spam firewall μπορείς να στείλεις e-mail ? όχι ---> - Stopped το Content Filtering μπορείς να στείλεις e-mail ? όχι ---> - Stopped το ένα Exchange SMTP μπορείς να στείλεις e-mail ?

Αρχικά θα σε παρακαλούσα να γίνεις λίγο ποιο σαφής - περιεκτικός όσο αφορά την περιγραφή της υποδομής - τοπολογίας του δικτύου σου για να την κατανοήσουμε όλοι και να μπορέσουμε να σε βοηθήσουμε. Ανακεφαλαιώνω διόρθωσε με αν κάνω κάποιο λάθος.Εχεις τα εξής : -1 Domain - 2 Exchange 2007 και 2000 , θέλεις να καταργήσεις τον 2o - έχεις baracuda αυτό ειναι spam firewall filter ? - έχεις content filtering software - έχεις Isa για proxy - έχεις 3 Ips που στους Exchange και σε ποιά service ? - έχεις τι DNS Reverse records και που ?Σε ποιο από τα 2 Dns reverse records έχεις πρόβλημα ? μην μας δώσεις τα Real Dns Names του Exchange σου- Εξήγησε μας την δομη τον Dns records με μη πραγματικά DNS names πχ exch1.domain.com , exch2.domain.com κτλ - Μπορεις να λάβεις e-mail από Yahoo αλλά δεν μπορείς να στείλεις . Αυτό το πρόβλημα το έχουν όλοι οι χρήστες οι καποιοι μεμονωμένοι ? - Οι SMTP IPs που είναι ενεργοποιημένες στους Mail Servers σου έχεις διασταυρώσει αν είναι Blocked απο Spam Lists και κατ'επέκταση απο Yahoo Mail Servers με αποτέλεσμα να μην δέχονται το Smtp Connection σου ? Tι error λαμβάνεις στα Underiverables outgoing e-mails ? - Εχεις ελέγχει αν οι Exchange Servers σου είναι Open Relay ?

Επίσης επειδή το πρόβλημα ειναι με το Unicode Mode του Outlook θα σου πρότεινα αρχικά να ελέγχεις στο Windows 2008 που έχεις εγκαταστήσει τον Exchange 2010 τι Language έχεις επιλέξει στο Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Administrative - Language for non-Unicode Programs .Εχεις Greek στο Current Language for non-Unicode Programs? Επίσης τον ίδιο έλεγχο πρέπει να κάνεις και στο Client Vista/7/XP για default languange for non-Unicode programs.Εχεις και εκεί Greek Default ?

Blackman check το PM μου Βλέπω και έγω timeouts 2 seconds σε Emporiki .Φαινεται ότι έχουν DNS records με Round Robin και καθυστερεί να σου απαντήσει και παίρνεις στο πρώτο recursive query timeout 2 seconds. Για να μην έχω timeout εγώ έκανα την παρακάτω διαδικασία 1. Εβαλα forwarder στον DNS του Active Directory τον DNS του ISP Provider 2. Αφησα στο tab forwarders το Number of seconds before forward queries time out : 5 seconds ( default value) 3. Τότε η απάντηση που πήρα απο το DNS Internal του AD ήταν χωρίς timeout nslookup mrelay.lb.emporiki.gr Server: localhost Address: 127.0.0.1 Non-authoritative answer: Name: mrelay.lb.emporiki.gr Addresses: 212.251.47.205, 91.138.160.77

Dan Fay, director of Microsoft Research’s Earth, Energy and Environment effort, works with scientists around the world to see how technology can help solve their research challenges. Since early 2009, he’s been working with NASA to bring imagery from the agency’s Mars and moon missions to life, and to make their valuable volumes of information more accessible to the masses. “We wanted to make it easier for people everywhere, as well as scientists, to access these unique and valuable images,” says Fay. “NASA had the images and they were open to new ways to share them. Through the WorldWide Telescope we were able to build a user interface at WWT|Mars that would allow people to take advantage of the great content they had.” To create the new Mars experience in the WorldWide Telescope, Fay worked closely with Michael Broxton of the NASA Ames Research Center’s Intelligent Robotics Group (IRG). Broxton leads a team in the IRG informally called the Mapmakers, which applies computer vision and image processing to problems of cartography. Over the years, the Mapmakers have taken satellite images from Mars, the moon and elsewhere, and turned them into useful maps. Broxton says that getting the results of NASA’s work out to the public is an important part of his mission. “NASA has a history of providing the public with access to our spacecraft imagery,” he says. “With projects like the WorldWide Telescope, we’re working to provide greater access so that future generations of scientists can discover space in their own way.” It is the mission of Fay’s team at Microsoft to push the boundaries of technology in service of scientific discovery and advance the state of the art in computer science overall. He explains that the approach to the Mars WorldWide Telescope project was to provide information at your fingertips. As such, Fay says the WorldWide Telescope is as much a research project as a Web service — one that has resulted in a truly stellar experience for users. “We were able to take the imagery from NASA, combine it with their elevation models and lay those onto the surface of the globe of Mars,” Fay says. “Now users of the WorldWide Telescope can zoom down and actually experience the surface-level detail of Mars. They can pan back and see the height of the craters or the depth of the canyons. The new Mars experience allows people to feel as though they’re actually there.” In particular, there’s a new dataset from the University of Arizona’s High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE), a state-of-the-art, remote-sensing camera on NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. HiRISE collects incredible images of super high resolution — a quarter of a meter per pixel on average. Each HiRISE image is a gigapixel in size, containing 100 times as much information as a 10 megapixel off-the-shelf camera. “Due to its size, the data set is too unwieldy for many people to work with,” notes Fay. “But that large data set is necessary to provide the most in-depth experience — the most beautiful images, which are full of information. We needed this immense level of data to even begin to attempt to create this unique Mars experience.” To get those images out to the public in a new way, the team set an ambitious goal to take all of the HiRISE images, 13,000 or so, and stitch them onto a single coherent map. While HiRISE has only imaged about 1 percent of Mars, leaving vast regions of Mars still to be explored, all of the HiRISE images have now been geolocated on a single map, and correlated with other global Mars data sets. Dotted with HiRISE images acquired so far, this new coherent map is the highest-resolution map of Mars’ surface ever constructed.

Σε ευχαριστώ, Με πρόλαβες ... [] Να επιβεβαιώσω και εγώ ότι το σενάριο αυτό λειτουργεί . Δηλαδή να δημιουργήσεις ενα Network Name Resource "FileServer" + File Resources και μια IP resource στο Cluster με ακριβώς τα ίδια στοιχεία με του File Server. Βέβαια όταν επιχειρήσεις να κάνεις online τον File Server και πάλι θα έχεις Ip Confict error αρα καλό θα είναι πριν την παραπάνω αλλαγή να έχεις αλλάξει αρχικά την IP του File Server [] Ολα τα παραπάνω και έγω τα δοκίμασα σε Virtual Cluster [] Με την ευκαιρία του Post σου αν κάποιος θέλει να έχει ενα virtual cluster στο laptop/pc του στο οποίο μπορεί χωρίς πρόβλημα να προσωμοιώσει ότι αλλαγές θέλει να κάνει στο Production Cluster αρκεί να εγκαταστήσει ένα VMware server ή Player ή Workstation + 2 Virtual Cluster Nodes+ 1 Virtual AD και να ακολουθήσει τα βήματα εγκατάστασης VMware Microsoft Cluster που καταγράφονται στο παρακάτω άρθρο : Running a Cluster on VMware

Παράλληλα, κατά τη διάρκεια της εν λόγω παρουσίασης, πραγματοποιήθηκε ζωντανή επίδειξη των δυνατοτήτων του συστήματος. Στις εργασίες της ημερίδας παρευρέθησαν εκπρόσωποι της τοπικής κοινωνίας της Λέσβου, καθώς και οι συντελεστές του έργου από το Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου, το Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, το Διεθνές Τμήμα Έρευνας της Microsoft (Microsoft Research), τη Microsoft Ελλάς και το Κέντρο Καινοτομίας της Microsoft. Για την επίδειξη του συστήματος τοποθετήθηκε ειδικός εξοπλισμός, που περιλαμβάνει GPS και σύστημα επικοινωνίας, σε ένα όχημα της Πυροσβεστικής Υπηρεσίας και ένα αεροσκάφος της Αερολέσχης Μυτιλήνης, που μεταδίδουν τις συντεταγμένες τους στο σύστημα. Η θέση όλων αυτών των υποδομών καθώς και ζωντανή σύνδεση με βιντεοκάμερες εμφανίζεται αυτόματα επάνω σε έναν ηλεκτρονικό χάρτη που μπορεί να προβληθεί σε μία μεγάλη ψηφιακή οθόνη (π.χ. στο Κέντρο Επιχειρήσεων της Πυροσβεστικής Υπηρεσίας). - Γεωγραφική αποτύπωση της πιθανότητας εμφάνισης πυρκαγιάς και αναγνώριση των περιοχών υψηλού κινδύνου. Η βασική διαφορά από τα υπάρχοντα συστήματα είναι η χρήση πολλαπλών παραμέτρων στον αλγόριθμο ποσοτικού υπολογισμού του κινδύνου, η παροχή υψηλής γεωγραφικής ανάλυσης, καθώς και η δυνατότητα ανανέωσης της πρόβλεψης εντός της ημέρας. Για την επίτευξη των παραπάνω, λαμβάνονται υπόψη διάφορες μετεωρολογικές (ταχύτητα ανέμου, υγρασία καύσιμης ύλης, βροχόπτωση κ.α.), κοινωνικοοικονομικές (αποστάσεις από οικισμούς, δρόμους, ηλεκτροφόρα καλώδια, χωματερές κ.α.) και βιοφυσικές (τύποι εδαφοκάλυψης βλάστησης, μοντέλα καύσιμης ύλης, τοπογραφία κ.α.) παράμετροι. Παράλληλα, πέντε αυτόματοι τηλεμετρικοί μετεωρολογικοί σταθμοί και ένα σύστημα πρόβλεψης καιρού, στηριγμένο στο μοντέλο SKIRON της Ομάδας Ατμοσφαιρικών Μοντέλων και Πρόγνωσης Καιρού του Τμήματος Φυσικής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, παρέχουν ηλεκτρονικά όλα τα απαραίτητα δεδομένα για την έγκαιρη διάγνωση του κινδύνου πυρκαγιάς και την αποτροπή του, τα οποία, μέσω του Virtual Fire, μπορούν να διανέμονται στους τελικούς χρήστες. - Γεωγραφική αποτύπωση της έναρξης, της έντασης και της πιθανής εξάπλωσης της πυρκαγιάς, με τη χρήση ειδικών λογισμικών (FARSITE και Flammap), παρέχοντας μια πρώτη εκτίμηση και αποτύπωση της εξέλιξης της πυρκαγιάς στο χώρο και στο χρόνο. Οι φορείς - χρήστες θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα, χωρίς την ανάγκη γνώσης χειρισμού πολύπλοκων και εμπορικών λογισμικών γεωπληροφορικής (GIS), να εφαρμόζουν και να αξιοποιούν εύκολα εφαρμογές, όπως πλοήγηση, να υποβάλλουν ερωτήματα σε βάσεις δεδομένων και να λαμβάνουν άμεσα απαντήσεις, να εντοπίζουν τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντός τους, να συνδέουν φορητούς Η/Υ και GPS με το σύστημα, καθώς και να λαμβάνουν πληροφορίες, που θα διανέμουν οι διαχειριστές του συστήματος. Σημειώνεται ότι τόσο η πιθανότητα εμφάνισης της πυρκαγιάς, όσο και η χαρτογράφηση των μετεωρολογικών συνθηκών υπολογίζονται με τη χρήση του ειδικού λογισμικού για υπερ-υπολογιστικές εφαρμογές, Microsoft Windows HPC Server, και άλλων εξυπηρετητών (servers) που χορηγήθηκαν ευγενώς από τη Hewlett Packard Ελλάδος. Χρησιμοποιούνται συνολικά τρεις εξυπηρετητές HP proliant τελευταίας τεχνολογίας για τους υπολογισμούς και την απεικόνιση των αποτελεσμάτων (1 Head Node και 2 Computing Nodes). Αναφορικά με το Virtual Fire, o καθηγητής γεωγραφίας του Πανεπιστημίου Αιγαίου και επιστημονικός υπεύθυνος του προγράμματος, κ. Κώστας Καλαμποκίδης δήλωσε τα ακόλουθα:«Το VIRTUAL FIRE αναπτύσσει και οπτικοποιεί μοντέλα που χρησιμοποιούνται για την πρόβλεψη του κινδύνου των δασικών πυρκαγιών με βάση μετεωρολογικά και γεωγραφικά δεδομένα, σε συνδυασμό με προσομοίωση της διάδοσης της πυρκαγιάς για να γνωρίζουμε έγκαιρα το πώς και πού η φωτιά είναι πιθανόν να εξαπλωθεί με βάση τα πραγματικά μετεωρολογικά στοιχεία, τη βλάστηση και τη μορφολογία του τοπίου. Οι προγνώσεις αυτές μαζί με μια πληθώρα άλλων πληροφοριών που αφορούν π.χ. τους δρόμους, τη θέση των δεξαμενών νερού, τη θέση των πυροσβεστικών αεροσκαφών και οχημάτων, τους τύπους βλάστησης και τα μετεωρολογικά δεδομένα εμφανίζονται σε ηλεκτρονικούς χάρτες, επιτρέποντας στους πυροσβέστες στα κέντρα ελέγχου ή στην ύπαιθρο μέσω φορητών συσκευών να διαχειρίζονται αποτελεσματικά τις δασικές πυρκαγιές και να αντιμετωπίζουν τυχόν άλλες καταστάσεις έκτακτης ανάγκης και πολιτικής προστασίας. Το σύστημα αυτό, το οποίο προβλέπεται να ελεγχθεί το φετινό καλοκαίρι για τα απαιτητικά υπολογιστικά και απεικονιστικά καθήκοντα που εμπλέκονται στην αντιμετώπιση των πυρκαγιών, προσφέρει μια πολλά υποσχόμενη λύση για τους φορείς προστασίας στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό που είναι φυσικό να μην διαθέτουν όλη τη σύγχρονη τεχνογνωσία των γεωπληροφορικών συστημάτων διαχείρισης των κινδύνων» . Σαν πρώτη εκτίμηση είναι ότι το σενάριο αυτό θα μπορούσε να λειτουργήσει αλλά πιθανόν οι users που έχουν κάνει map τα shared folders να χρειαστούν να επαναδημιουργήσουν τα map network drives λόγω διαφορετικού security access token.Επίσης για τον ίδιο λόγο θα χρειαστεί οι domain users να κάνουν log off απο τα domain profiles τους είτε στο pc τους είτε στους terminal server που πιθανόν να έχεις. Επίσης θα σου πρότεινα πριν από οποιαδήποτε ενέργεια να πάρεις ένα backup των file server και κυρίως τα shared folders απο την registry http://support.microsoft.com/kb/125996 - Τα shared folders που έχεις δημιουργήσει είναι publish στο active directory ή είναι local shares στον File Server ?

The extraordinary fact was announced on the Windows Team Blog by Microsoft blogger Brandon LeBlanc. "We are excited to announce that Windows 7 has sold 150 million licenses to-date. As I’ve said before, Windows 7 is the fastest selling operating system in history with 7 copies of Windows 7 sold every second", said LeBlanc. Microsoft made the headlines in January when it announced that it had sold over 60 million licenses of Windows 7. In March the company hit the 90 million milestone and estimates that 300 million licenses will be sold during 2010. Microsoft released Windows 7 on October 22, 2009. The operating system has received praise from consumers, businesses and the media. In November 2009, Windows 7 managed to surpass Apple's Snow Leopard market share in just two weeks. In early February it was revealed that Windows 7 had reached 10% market share in just three months. Windows 7 has also driven an uptake of 64-bit computing. According to ChangeBASE research, conducted with senior IT decision makers, more than 65% of businesses hoped to migrated to Windows 7 within 12 months of its release. Over 50% of those migrating will be choosing the 64-bit route.
