Ένα νέο Patch για τον Exchange χαλάει τα Blackberries

Ένα security patch που έβγαλε η Microsoft "χαλάει" την σύνδεση με συσκευές Blackberry και χρειάζεται να κάνετε κάποιες ενέργειες για να μην έχουν πρόβλημα οι χρήστες σας.
"Οι χρήστες δεν έχουν τη δυνατότητα αποστολής μηνυμάτων ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου από φορητή συσκευή ή από κοινόχρηστο γραμματοκιβώτιο στο διακομιστή Exchange 2000 Server και στον Exchange Server 2003" --> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912918

Όταν προσπαθείτε να στείλετε ένα μήνυμα ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου στο Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server ή στο Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, δεν μπορείτε να στείλετε το μήνυμα. Επιπλέον, μπορεί να εμφανιστεί ένα από τα ακόλουθα μηνύματα λάθους ή μία από τις ακόλουθες εκθέσεις μη παράδοσης (NDR):

 

•	Δεν επιτρέπεται η πρόσβαση (Access denied)

•	ΔΕΝ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΔΥΝΑΤΗ Η ΠΡΟΣΒΑΣΗ ΣΤΟ MAPI_E -2147024891 (MAPI_E_NO_ACCESS -2147024891)
•	Η υποβολή μηνύματος ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου για το χρήστη ΟΝΟΜΑ_ΧΡΗΣΤΗ (HRESULT:-2147024891) απέτυχε. Προσωρινή διακοπή του χρήστη ΟΝΟΜΑ_ΧΡΗΣΤΗ. (Σφάλμα ασφαλείας - Δεν είναι δυνατή η πρόσβαση στο γραμματοκιβώτιο των χρηστών) (Failed to submit mail message for user USERNAME (HRESULT:-2147024891) Pausing user USERNAME. (Security error - Cannot access the users mailbox.))

In line with Microsoft's Security Update Advisor monthly patch update, http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/advance.mspx they have plans on releasing a patch on May 9, 2006 for Exchange 2000 Server and Exchange Server 2003. If you are planning on installing this update, it's important to note that this update affects user mailbox permissions by revoking the 'Send As' permission in Exchange which has an impact on third party products such as Blackberry Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange. Once applied, this update will prevent users on Blackberry Enterprise Server from sending email from a Blackberry or Blackberry-enabled device.

Recommended Resolution:
RIM, in conjunction with Microsoft, has provided configuration settings that must be implemented to enable Blackberry users to continue sending messages. Microsoft is recommending modifying permissions in Active Directory as outlined in the public-facing Microsoft KB.

Before applying this Microsoft Software Update, RIM recommends that Administrators review these two Knowledge Base articles and take any necessary steps appropriate for their environment.
