Good evening mates!!

ITProdev is bad influence at last , you made me create an Azure account.

And now I have to go from the start I am trying to create a DB but I am unable to create one at the new service tiers (Basic, Standard & Premium) but i can using the retired ones.

Any suggetions/

Could I Create a DB by transfering a local DB on SQL Server Express?

Thank you in advance.

PS To much food for thought @ ITProDev

Hi Niko,

First thinks first, congratulations about your new Azure account creation !

Now let's go to Azure SQL offering. If you create a DB, using older size or tier you can upgrade it whenever you want using the configuration tab. It's that simple and you can downgrade it too !

About SQL Migration, take a look at the following great tool
