We are constantly expanding our activities and our personnel all over the world. For this purpose we are looking to recruit for our offices in Thessaloniki: System Administrator in Liti Thessaloniki (Derveni Area)
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Maintain network and system security;
•    Analyze and isolate issues;
•    Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions;
•    Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up;
•    Maintain system efficiency. Investigate and troubleshoot issues;
•    Make recommendations for future upgrades;
•    Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.  Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies;
•    Upgrade and configure system per project or operational needs;
•    Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required;
 
Necessary skills:
•    Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science;
•     Systems Administration/System proven experience in Linux and Cisco products;
•     5+ year’s system administration experience;
•    Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively;
•    Strong prioritization skills are necessary;
•    Strong communication ability;
•    Excellent knowledge of English language both written and oral.

Desirable skills (they will be a strong asset)
•    Esxi, Vcenter, VMWave, VCD;
•    Linux Centos Administration;
•    Cisco, CCNA, CCNP;
•    Knowledge in Mongo DB, Oracle and SQL platforms;
•    Experience in Data Base Cluster;
•    SS7 protocol;
•    SMPP, shell scripts, Python;
•    Kannel
