The Developer Experience and Evangelism Lead mission: enables the development of industry leading applications and services across Microsoft mobility and cloud platforms, as well as the Go-to-market success of these applications and services. This role is also a key member of the local Leadership Team, helping to ensure the success of the subsidiary as a whole. This role is the overall business leader of DX, as well as being accountable for key strategic initiatives within the subsidiary. 
 
The DX Lead will need to demonstrate success in developing growth strategies and transforming them into execution. This position also involves a large amount of exposure to management and requires the ability to communicate concisely and consistently.
 
Overview of responsibilities
  • Business impact: Achieve business results and contribute to the success of the Greek subsidiary as a whole
  • Technology Adoption: Accelerate adoption of our modern platform and tools measured through the growth of ISV Cloud and Mobility Apps (B2B or B2C) that are built on Microsoft Services and Platforms. Focus on building key wins that can be used as evidence / reference to build momentum in the marketplace. Ensure compatibility with and use of key client and web technologies & Drive the business development around key strategic wins that highlight our technology.
  • Leadership: Be a thought leader for key technology focus areas such as Cloud and Mobility.
  • Marketing: Increase Microsoft adoption in the ecosystem, deliver the Microsoft platform value proposition for Developers, and accelerate IT Pro engagement in areas of devices, cloud, virtualization and DevOps to drive preference and adoption. Build an innovative set of marketing programs to connect with local Technology Professionals & Build a strong yearly marketing plan. Execution of our product and platform campaigns, promotions and activities & Work in conjunction with our marketing team in the development and execution of our campaigns.
  • Partners: Build a powerful ecosystem of partners (ISVs) around Microsoft technology & develop readiness programs to help prepare partnership for future technology programs
  • Sales: Drive broad Developer Tools revenue share and platform adoption and extend the selling motion to grow Azure adoption and consumption with developers. Accurate and timely sales pipeline forecasting and participation in the subsidiary forecasting process, including integration into the Server & Tools business processes. Achievement of Developer Tools sales goals across all customer segments. Maintain an accurate and effective sales forecast.
  • People: Grow DX as the best place to work and key talent export for company. Build a strong team that can be agile in achieving the business goals, ensure that an outstanding focus people development is maintain, strive for exception employee satisfaction results.

  • Experience selling and/or marketing a highly technical product
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or the natural sciences, related software engineering, or other technology-driven discipline.
  • MBA a plus
  • Microsoft certifications (MCSD, MCT, MCSE, etc.) a plus.
  • Basic project management skills are needed and used on a daily basis
  • Fluency in English
