• Take over our new shiny APIv3 implementation, enhance it with more endpoints while closely monitoring its performance and keeping it up to date with our web application.
• Help "Mo", our intelligent product feed updater, become even more intelligent when updating products.
• Help improve our web applications aimed for our partners and provide our customers with valuable tools for managing their products and brands inside Skroutz.
• Build & maintain internal tools aiming at developer productivity and employee happiness.
• Participate in a dedicated team that will build country specific features (Alve.com, Scrooge.co.uk)
• Take part in a super secret project you'll be very proud of when it hits production (your friends will love you for it).

REQUIREMENTS

• A solid CS background.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a professional setting.
• Intrigued by the product as much as by the technology.
• Easy going attitude, good communication skills and team spirit.

Will be appreciated:

• Knowledge of Ruby, Python or any other scripting language.
• Ruby On Rails knowledge is a great plus.
• Familiarity with OOP principles and Design Patterns.
• Comfortable with A/B testing, test coverage, and other web best practices.
• Exposure to architectural patterns of a large, performance intensive web application.
• Any links to open source contributions or code you have written will help us with the evaluation process.
