INTRASOFT International, a leading European IT solutions provider is seeking a professional for its Athens Branch, to cover the following opening: Senior Software QA Engineer (Ref. DG11/SQAE)

               The successful candidate will be part of the core engineering team working directly with developers, analysts, and project managers. He/she will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies, methodologies and plans, assessing the risks and solving quality challenges.

                

               Amongst his/her other duties will be:

                              Contribute in the distribution of all Quality Assurance practices, standards, methodologies and metrics.

                              Translate business requirements and specifications into test solutions that insure the highest quality of the deliverables.

                              Analyze, design, plan and execute strategies for all unit, process, function, integration and acceptance testing for covering all software lifecycle phases.

                              Design automation test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures

                              Perform automation test execution; mentor, direct and monitor other testers in automation principles

                              Responsible for partnering with project management to identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated testing methodologies.

                              Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards

                              Collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools and communicating to key stakeholders on a regular basis.

               Required Skills:University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering  or a related discipline

                              At least 5 years of proven experience in designing, planning and execution of software testing strategies for QA

                              Sound knowledge of software development lifecycle for enterprise scale projects with Agile methodologies or Test Driven Development and continuous integration processes

                              Hand-on experience in:

                              Issue & Project tracking tools (Jira and Atlassian product stack)

                              Automation Testing tools (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium,  Cucumber & Soap UI) and Defect Tracking Tools (Bugzilla)

                              Knowledge in Java and/or .NET

                              Experience of SQL, XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST

               Desired Skills:
