Java Developer (code: JD0316) Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Write well designed, testable, efficient code. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Profile RequirementsBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject 3+ years of proven hands-on Software Development experience Proven working experience in Java development with back-end experience Working experience with distributed systems and service oriented architectures Experience with Eclipse IoT or similar Excellent knowledge of relational databases (SQL: MySQL and MSSQL) Working experience in Linux Able to profile, tune and debug code Excellent English communication skills Problem solving skills Solid planning & time management skills Team player, comfortable in an agile environment, Benefit Knowledge Lucene, Solr, Elasticsearch Kafka, Zookeeper Hadoop, Spark PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB Python and Bash scripting Solid understanding of how web pages/applications are delivered (HTTP, REST) Spring framework RDF, SPARQL, SKOS, RDFS, OWL Linux as a development environment AWS EC2, S3, EMR DevOps mindset Subversion/Git, Maven/Ant, TeamCity/Jenki Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
