Χαιρετώ τον κόσμο του autoexec.gr Πριν 2-3 μήνες ανακάλυψα ένα πολύ χρήσιμο εργαλείο, κατά την γνώμη μου και θέλω να το μοιραστώ μαζί σας. Είναι ένας package manager για windows. Όπως υπάρχει το apt-get στα Debian linux και άλλα αντίστοιχα, τώρα έχουμε στα windows το Chocolatey. Δουλεύει χρησιμοποιώντας το Powershell. Η εγκατάσταση του γίνεται απλά τρέχοντας από ένα admin elevated command prompt την εντολή: @powershell -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Command "iex ((new-object net.webclient).DownloadString('https://chocolatey.org/install.ps1'))"&& SET PATH=%PATH%;%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\chocolatey\bin Μπορείτε να βρείτε πληροφορίες στο site του: https://chocolatey.org/ Για μένα είναι καταπληκτικό εργαλείο, γιατί μπορώ από command prompt να εγκαταστήσω και να αναβαθμίσω πολλά από τα προγράμματα που χρησιμοποιώ συχνά, με απλές εντολές. Π.χ. για εγκατάσταση: choco install ccenhancer -y για έλεγχο και update όλων των πακέτων: cup all -y Επειδή τα update διαφόρων προγραμμάτων είναι βαρετά, έχω ρυθμίσει και το τρέχουν τα PC που είμαι υπεύθυνος μέσω του task scheduler κάθε 2 μέρες οπότε κερδίζω χρόνο. Έχει αρκετά ενδιαφέροντα κόλπα που ακόμα μαθαίνω. Με “Choco list -lo” εμφανίζει τα προγράμματα που έχουν εγκατασταθεί με το chocolatey “Choco list -li” εμφανίζει όλα τα εγκατεστημένα προγράμματα των Windows. Ελπίζω να σας φανεί χρήσιμο. Συνέχιση Ανάγνωσης Στο Word 13 Επεξεργαζόμαστε ένα έγγραφο στο Word αλλά για κάποιο λόγο πρέπει να κλείσουμε το έγγραφο για να συνεχίσουμε την επεξεργασία του αργότερα. Ωραία, Κανένα Πρόβλημα. Αλλά ποιο σημείο του εγγράφου επεξεργαζόμασταν την τελευταία φορά; Δεν θυμόμαστε!!! Το Word 13 το έχει προνοήσει!!! Όταν κλείσουμε το έγγραφό μας στο Microsoft Word 13, την επόμενη φορά που θα το ανοίξουμε εμφανίζεται το Resume Reading (Συνέχιση Ανάγνωσης) στο δεξιό μέρος της οθόνης όπως εμφανίζεται και στην παρακάτω εικόνα. Το Resume Reading (Συνέχιση Ανάγνωσης) μας καλωσορίζει πίσω και μας συμβουλεύει να συνεχίσουμε από εκεί που το αφήσαμε την τελευταία φορά. Αναφέρει τον αριθμό της σελίδας στην οποία δουλεύαμε την τελευταία φορά και το ακριβές σημείο. Επίσης μας αναφέρει και το χρονικό διάστημα που προηγήθηκε πριν την τελευταία επεξεργασία του συγκεκριμένου εγγράφου. Στην παρακάτω εικόνα μας ειδοποιεί ότι δουλεύαμε στη Σελίδα 100 πριν μερικά δευτερόλεπτα. Στην παρακάτω εικόνα έχω κλείσει το έγγραφο και το έχω ξανά ανοίξει αργότερα. Το Resume Reading (Συνέχιση Ανάγνωσης) μας ειδοποιεί και πάλι ότι δουλεύαμε στη Σελίδα 100, πριν απόΈξι (6) λεπτά. Για μία ακόμα φορά στην παρακάτω εικόνα έχω κλείσει και ξανά ανοίξει το έγγραφο αργότερα. Το Resume Reading (Συνέχιση Ανάγνωσης) μας ειδοποιεί και πάλι ότι δουλεύαμε στη Σελίδα 100 πριν από Μία (1) ώρα. Ξανά συνεχίζουμε από εκεί που το είχαμε αφήσει απλά και γρήγορα. Το μόνο που έχουμε να κάνουμε είναι να κάνουμε ένα κλικ πάνω στο Resume Reading (Συνέχιση Ανάγνωσης) και θα μεταφερθούμε στο ακριβές σημείο του εγγράφου. Στην παρακάτω εικόνα το Resume Reading (Συνέχιση Ανάγνωσης) μας πληροφορεί ότι δουλεύαμε στη Σελίδα 100 πριν Τέσσερις (4) ώρες. Εάν ανοίξουμε το έγγραφο και δεν κάνουμε χρήση του Resume Reading (Συνέχιση Ανάγνωσης), αυτό συρρικνώνεται στην μορφή που βλέπουμε στην παρακάτω εικόνα και εάν πλοηγηθούμε από πάνω του ξαναεμφανίζει όλες τις πληροφορίες που έχω περιγράψει παραπάνω. Με μεγάλη χαρά την πρώτη Οκτωβρίου έλαβα ένα email που έλεγε τα παρακάτω Είμαι πολύ χαρούμενος και υπερήφανος για τη διάκριση αυτή, η οποία μου δίνει τη δύναμη όσο και την έμπνευση, να συνεχίσω με αμείωτο ζήλο την προσπάθεια και την συνεισφορά στην κοινότητα των IT Pros. Windows 10 is available for download, so as you can see I’ve already downloaded and installed it on my laptop. I would like to start using it, although this is the Technical Preview version. Some bugs are expected, however since I’ve installed it, everything seems to run smoothly. I’m using it for some hours and I’m writing this blog post inside Windows 10, so I can say that is a stable version (at least till now). The first thing that you notice if you install it on a no-touch laptop is that there is no Start screen by default. As soon as you log on you go directly to the desktop. You cannot see the Start screen, even if you press the Start button: in the screenshot above you can see the new Start menu, a combination of old Start menu, but now includes some modern Windows 8.x apps. You can resize the Start menu and you can pin Modern apps as you like. The good thing here is that you can still benefit from the Live Tiles and get the information that you need, just like in the Windows 8.x Start screen: If you thin that you need the Windows 8.x Start screen, you have to enable it through the Taskbar options: You can pin, unpin or even resize the tiles. You can also see an icon for the user account you logged on, giving you some actions when you click on it: Next to your user account you can find the on-off button that allows you to shutdown the computer: The new Start menu works like in Windows 7, giving you a list of all the applications that you have installed, but also a search function: A great new feature is the ability to create additional virtual desktops, something that was an add-on but now is built-in: Another new feature is that the new OS can now keep a history of your frequent folders and display them in File Explorer: The notification messages have changed, as you can see in the screenshot below: I’ve seen that there is a new option to share content, just like in Windows Phone, please notice the Share button below: Hyper-V is also included, I’ve used it to install Windows Server 10 Technical Preview: Charms are not available if you use a no-touch computer. But where are the settings we used to see through the Charms?
